  • Prof. Sukhendu Mandal recently delivered a captivating talk on "Structure-Property Correlation in Atom Precise Silver and Silver-Cluster Assembly" at the prestigious Gordon Research Conference (GRC) 2024 on Atomically Precise Nanochemistry.

  • Sayani Mukherjee has been awarded the best "Inorganic Chemistry and Catalysis" poster award sponsored by ACS Organometallics at the 27th CRSI National Symposium in Chemistry hosted by IISER Kolkata.
     

  • We welcome new master's students Angela, Debaditya, Nancy, Riya, Sakshi, and Vaibhav to our group. We are excited to see the Mandal lab continue to grow!
     

  • Congratulations to our master's student Balu P Ratheesh for winning the School of Chemistry Gold Medal 2021 and the Challa Gold Medal 2021 (presented by Prof. Vijaya Kumar Challa of the University of Connecticut to a Chemistry (Major) outgoing student with the highest CGPA). Balu is set to join the Department of Chemistry at the Pennsylvania State University, USA, in the fall for his graduate studies. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavors
     

  • Dr. Sukhendu Mandal has been selected to receive the prestigious Chemical Research Society of India (CRSI) Bronze Medal for the year 2021.
     

  • Congratulations to Sayani Mukherjee for winning the best presentation award in the "Ph.D. Students' Science Slam" held on 2nd Dec  2020, organized by the department jointly with RSC.
